简介:1.1本标准是有关色漆、清漆及相关产品的取样和试验的系列标准之一。 本标准规定了用反射计以 20°、60°或85°几何条件测定色漆漆膜的镜面光泽的试验方法。本方法不适用于含金属颜料色漆漆膜的光泽测量。 a) 60°几何条件适用于所有的漆膜,但是对于很高光泽和接近无光的漆膜,20°或85°也许更适用。 b)20°几何条件(使用较小的接收器孔)在对高光泽漆膜(即60°镜面光泽高于70单位的漆膜)的 情况能给出更好的分辨率。 c)/85°几何条件在对低光泽漆膜(即60°镜面光泽低于10单位的漆膜)的情况能给出更好的分辨率。 注1:对于同一系列的测量应该保持统一的几何条件,即使其不在所建议的几何条件范围内。 注2:在某些情况下,镜面光泽的测定值可能会与目视评定不一致。

简介:Specular gloss is used primarily as a measure of the shiny appearance of films and surfaces. Precise comparisons of gloss values are meaningful only when they refer to the same measurement procedure and same general type of material. In particular, gloss values for transparent films should not be compared with those for opaque films, and vice versa. Gloss is a complex attribute of a surface which cannot be completely measured by any single number. Specular gloss usually varies with surface smoothness and flatness. It is sometimes used for comparative measurements of these surface properties.1.1 This test method describes procedures for the measurement of gloss of plastic films and solid plastics, both opaque and transparent. It contains four separate gloss angles (Note 1): 1.1.1 60-deg, recommended for intermediate-gloss films, 1.1.2 20-deg, recommended for high-gloss films, 1.1.3 45-deg, recommended for intermediate and low-gloss films, and 1.1.4 75-deg, recommended for plastic siding and soffit. Differences in the colour and the diffuse reflectances ofthese ink films have a negligible effect on gloss measured according to this part of ISO 8254. 简介:This International Standard is one of a series of standards dealing with the sampling and testing of paints, varnishes and related products.It specifies a test method for determining the specular gloss of paint films using a reflectometer geometry of 20° 60°or 85° The method is not suitable for the measurement of the gloss of metallic paints.a) The 60°geometry is applicable to all paint films, but for very high gloss and near-matt films 20°or 85°may be more suitable.b) The 20°geometry, which uses a smaller receptor aperture, is intended to give improved differentiation between high-gloss paint films (i.e. films with a 60°specular gloss higher than about 70 units).c) The 85°geometry is intended to give improved differentiation between low-gloss paint films (i.e. films with a 60°specular gloss lower than about 10 units).NOTE 1 The same geometry should, of course, be retained for a series of measurements even if this means disregarding the suggested limits.NOTE 2 In some cases, the determination of specular gloss may not correspond to a visual assessment.
